Lovely Dachshund dog lover handcrafted necklace featuring a terrific Doxie sculpture for a pendant. This little dog art sculpture was skillfully hand sculpted and painted by a Wisconsin artist. True to dog breed standards and absolutely wonderful.
For this Dachshund dog necklace I've hand wire wrapped this little dog with sterling silver wire and lovely blue Turquoise onto a silver chain. Dog jewelry makes such a great dog lover gift.

The first one was named Max. When he died I got another and I gave him a different name. Yet he looked like Max, and he acted like Max, and sometimes I found myself calling him Max. So I said to myself, "If he wants to be Max then he is Max." I suppose that I wanted Max to live with me forever. So when I get a Dachshund puppy who starts with the name Rolle or the name Jolly, I know that sooner or later they will turn into Max. That is who I wish to live with.
